- Join Shruti Yogi On Her Enchanting Journey From Kumkum Bhagya To Wanderlust Saga
by Akshra Khandelwal Join Shruti Yogi On Her Enchanting Journey From Kumkum Bhagya To Wanderlust Saga 26 August 2023 LIFESTYLE Advertisement In a world brimming with talent and creativity, Shruti Yogi has emerged as a multifaceted influencer who has successfully etched her name onto the canvas of social media. As I sat down with her for an exclusive interview, her radiant smile and infectious enthusiasm set the tone for a conversation that delved into her journey from acting to influencing, her passion for travel, and the essence of her digital evolution. "Life is treating me well, personally and in terms of work," she shared as we began our conversation. A statement that echoed not just in her words but also in her vibrant demeanour. As an influencer who has managed to strike the perfect balance between personal and professional spheres, it was evident that Shruti's journey was marked by intention and dedication. With a sparkle in her eyes, she revealed her upcoming travel destination – a place lingering in her dreams for far too long. "Iceland," she exclaimed, her excitement palpable. After years of yearning, she was finally set to embark on an Icelandic adventure come October. Her face lit up as she spoke about the ethereal landscapes she was eager to explore and the thrill of experiencing the land of fire and ice. However, her journey to the world of influencers was paved with a different kind of spotlight – the television screen. "I started my journey as an actor in 2015," she reminisced. With roles in TV shows like "Kumkum Bhagya," "Ishq Me Mar Jawan," and cameo appearances in "Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi," she had already made her presence felt in the entertainment world. But it was in 2019 that she decided to expand her horizons and step into social media. "I started posting pics and videos for my audience, which was following me because of my TV shows," she explained. Little did she know that this step would lead to collaborations with renowned brands and even earn her the prestigious "Wander with Luxury" award by the esteemed "Scy Awards." "A most memorable day," she recalled with a smile, the recognition a testament to her dedication and hard work. Content creators often find their niche through experimentation in the ever-evolving social media landscape. Shruti's journey was no different. She began by sharing content related to acting and fashion, slowly shaping her platform into a reflection of her passions. "I found my niche: fashion, travel, and lifestyle," she shared. Her evolution into a creator who crafts captivating fashion and travel videos was a testament to her commitment to personal growth. Photography and videography had become integral parts of her creative arsenal, allowing her to weave narratives that resonated deeply with her audience. As our conversation flowed, I couldn't resist asking about the three things that held an irreplaceable spot in her life. She chuckled, her response reflecting her authenticity. "I can't live without working – without having a goal," she admitted. The fire within her to keep pushing herself was evident. Her love for travel followed closely, a passion she nourished by ensuring a getaway every few months. "It's keeping me sane in this busy life," she mused. And then, there was coffee – a source of unparalleled excitement. Her eyes twinkled mischievously as she shared her fondness for that energising brew. In the realm of travel, memorable moments often turn into cherished stories. Shruti had her fair share; one stood out vividly – a trip to Croatia with her husband. Amidst the country's breathtaking beauty, an unexpected twist unfolded as her husband fell ill. "He got sick badly for 4.5 days," she recalled, her voice tinged with concern. Yet, what could have been a daunting experience turned into a heartwarming memory. Strangers became friends as the Croatian people extended their care and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on her heart. "I loved Croatia for its beauty and the beauty of Croatian people," she reflected. The story was a testament to the power of human connections forged in adversity. Shruti's advice was simple yet profound for aspiring creators eager to follow in her footsteps. "Be consistent and work hard. Find your niche and stick to that," she advised. But above all, she emphasised the significance of passion. "Love what you do to survive longer," she added. Her journey was a testament to the rewards of perseverance and the joy that stems from pursuing one's true calling. As our interview drew close, I couldn't help but be inspired by Shruti Yogi's unwavering spirit and zest for life. From the glimmering world of television to the captivating realm of social media, she had seamlessly transitioned, leaving a trail of creativity and authenticity in her wake. With Iceland on the horizon and a heart full of dreams, Shruti Yogi reminds us that life's greatest adventures await those who dare to chase them. - Single parenthood and family
by Akash Khatri Single parenthood and family 1 December 2020 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Slowly generalising concept yet feels like a terror to me . I’m not writing it hypothetically rather have seen this. Families emerged from single Parenthood on a positive aspect know struggle and manage to include themselves in the hardy layer of the society whereas on a negative aspect they can just be as jeopardized as possible. Single parenthood if not self chosen could be a disaster for the parent itself ,juggling between kids, work, household and what not as if you’ve to do single handed plank when your core isn’t used to it. However, I fear for self chosen single parenting because the shrinkage from joint families to single parent families are somewhere responsible in the upbringing and personality development of a child as well. How are they supposed to learn actions oriented moral ethics and values if they are not getting various people to observe in their house. In a nutshell, the pursuit of single parenthood must be a big no ,no matter how much it’s covered or layered with positive attributes, it’s hard for both the child and the parent and we as humans don’t opt for harder things by nature, do we ? #family #singleparent #singleparenthood #society SEARCH Women Empowerment A mere concept or a real Concern SOCIETY Looking Through The Excellence Of ‘Jaali’ Architecture SOCIETY Why the Gender Pay Gap is Wide and Disturbing SOCIETY Festival of Stones SOCIETY The Pygmalion Effect SOCIETY POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement By Anushka Sharma Uniting Voices, Shaping Futures: Dive Into Mun 2.0 At NIT Patna 8 September 2024 SOCIETY By Anushka Sharma These Healthy Habits Can Lower Your Risk Of Depression 31 August 2024 SOCIETY By Rini Pathak A Glance In The Kshitij’23: A Euphoric Escapade 26 January 2024 SOCIETY By Rini Pathak Mithibai Kshitij: Epitome Of Diverse Social Cause Empowerment 24 January 2024 SOCIETY RELATED POSTS
- Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows
by Priti Sharma Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows 12 December 2022 FASHION Advertisement Similar to art, fashion shows and editorials are meant to elicit discussion. I may not always agree with the idea because it is frequently absurd and outrageous! The objective is to adapt one style element to your own style. The suit is not intended to be worn from head to toe. Fashion shows are crucial since they present the newest trends for the season. They serve as a moving gallery and a style icon for quick clothes retailers who copy high fashion. Instead, a fashion show is an opportunity for a designer to showcase a specific aesthetic, mood, feel or point of view. As a result, fashion shows can tend to be more conceptual and focused on a higher level idea. Designers can display their creative ideas for garments during fashion shows. Future modifications to what individuals wear may result from this. Since they have been included in fashion shows for a number of years, men wearing skirts are now considered acceptable attire. Fashion shows are hugely significant in the worlds of fashion and modeling. Their acceptance has grown quickly, making them one of the major fashion events. The most important aspect of many fashion designers' careers is participating in fashion shows. But what's even more crucial for these exhibitions is that fashion designers can showcase their work and skill. They can develop cooperative partnerships and entice as many clients or business partners as they can this way. Pret-a-Porter & Haute Couture — At a fashion show, models walk the catwalk to display a designer's newest collections. Fashions from pret-a-porter and haute couture are distinguished from one another. Haute couture literally translates as high-end tailoring and has French origins. Haute couture is a term used to describe lavish, distinctive, and high-quality fashion designs. The opulent sets, which feature choreography in the Busby Berkeley style set in magical woods and space-age discos, are as lavish as the outfits, which are adorned with Swarovski crystals and pearls. The twice-yearly couture presentations, which are presently being held in Paris, are unquestionable quite the spectacle. The costs are equally astounding as the dresses: a made-to-measure ballgown may easily cost as much as a Rolls-Royce, while a blouse would cost as much as a Madrid flat. Which begs the question: what is the point of couture if relatively few people would spend six figures on a dress? Similar to how automakers flaunt their technological prowess by building supercars, fashion designers utilize couture as a demonstration of their power and technical prowess. The Chambre de Commerce & d'Industrie de Paris carefully regulate entry to the calendar; in order to become a couture designer, fashion businesses must adhere to severe criteria, including having a Paris-based studio with more than 20 employees. The most absurd ideas from a designer are displayed in couture, where there are no financial restrictions on aspiration. Additionally, it displays financial strength. For instance, Versace nearly went out of business during the early 2000s recession and discontinued presenting couture for eight years. When it returned to schedule, in 2012, the brand was perceived as being back in rude health. In short, couture designers are the creme de la creme; fashion’s richest, most accomplished top dogs. Mid-century France was where haute couture first appeared. Charles Frederick Worth, the so-called founding father, was the first to sell custom-made, high-end clothing manufactured to his own designs. Up until that point, made-to-measure clothes has only ever been created with the customer's preferences in mind. The fashion business saw a transformation because to Worth. The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne then came together; this group still governs haute couture and today refers to itself as a fashion association. The designer may only showcase his haute couture line under this genre at the couture presentations of the Fashion Weeks if this committee approves the collection of his designer label. The point of couture is clear: it’s all about glory, pizzazz, and the bottom line. #FashionShow #Fashion #Couture #Glamour #Models #Designers #FashionWeek SEARCH The Rich Heritage of Indian Handloom FASHION Fashion In The 19th Century FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION The Influence Of Kanye West On Fashion FASHION K-Pop Fashion And Its Impact On Global Wardrobe FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Anushka Sharma Dubai Fashion Week Day Five: Emerging Talents, Cultural Heritage, And Global Fashion Dialogues 14 September 2024 FASHION By Anushka Sharma Marina Ignjat: A Journey Through Style And Travel 13 September 2024 FASHION By Anushka Sharma Anaya Collection Unveils "Gaudí’s Reverie" At Dubai Fashion Week: A Fusion Of Love, Technique, And Playful Elegance 11 September 2024 FASHION By Anushka Sharma Hebajasmi Unveils Captivating New Collection For SS25: A Masterpiece Of Art And Fashion 10 September 2024 FASHION RELATED POSTS

- How Do Some People Not Get Acne No Matter What
By Anushka Sharma How Do Some People Not Get Acne No Matter What 15 April 2024 LIFESTYLE Advertisement Hey there! Let's dive into the intriguing world of acne and why some folks seem to dodge it altogether. Acne is like that unwelcome guest who shows up uninvited, but while most people deal with it at some point, others breeze through life with clear skin. What's their secret? Let's find out! Blame It on the Genes: Yep, it's all in the genes! If your parents or close family members battled acne, chances are it might come knocking on your door too. But it's not just about inheriting a single "acne gene." Your genetic makeup decides how sensitive your skin is to hormones and environmental stuff, and how good it is at fighting off acne-causing germs. Hormones, Hormones, Hormones: Now, let's talk about those pesky hormones. During puberty, your body goes into overdrive with hormones like testosterone (yep, even girls have it!). These hormones love to crank up oil production in your skin, leading to clogged pores and zits. Teens often get pimples in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin), while adults, especially ladies, might see them pop up around the cheeks and jawline. Sweat and Junk Food: Picture this: you're smashing it at the gym, but then, bam! Acne decides to crash the party. Sweat mixed with tight workout gear can create a cozy environment for acne-causing bacteria. So, wear comfy, breathable clothes and shower right after sweating it out. And when it comes to food, greasy, sugary, and fast food might be tasty, but they can also fuel acne. A balanced diet with lots of good stuff can help keep those pimples at bay. Stress Messes Things Up: Life can get stressful, right? But did you know stress can mess with your skin too? When you're stressed, your body releases a hormone called cortisol, which tells your skin to produce more oil. More oil means more chances for acne to crash the party. So, find ways to chill out, like deep breathing, going for a walk, or chatting with a friend. The Big Finish: So, there you have it! While some lucky ducks seem to breeze through life without a pimple in sight, most of us have to deal with acne at some point. But understanding why it happens and taking care of your skin can help keep those pesky pimples at bay. So, whether you're blessed with clear skin or fighting off zits left and right, remember: taking care of your skin is always a good idea! And we have saved you quite a lot of time by rounding off the top 10 Iceland tourist attractions for your first ever trip! So, let’s not waste any more time and find out the best places to visit in Iceland on your first trip. Vatnajökull Glacier: Remember the place where Elsa and her sister (from the Disney movie Frozen) lived? Well, if you do then this is one place that will leave you awestruck. Vatnajökull Glacier is a world made of ice. It is best known for its mystical caves that are constantly shifting their existence from one place to another. Thus, it is advisable for the first-time visitors to hire a guide before entering this winter wonderland. This maze-like formation is Europe’s largest glacier and also covers more than 8% of the entire area of the entire country. Soak yourself in the adventurous vibe of this place and do not forget to click pictures! Best time to visit: November to March (during this time, the ice caves are stable and that makes your tour better) Reykjavik : One of the most popular Iceland tourist places, Reykjavik takes the credit for its whale watching tours. Remember Keiko from Free Willy? Well, the killer whale was captured in a camera in a marine site close to Reykjavik. There is a 90% chance that you will get to spot the giant creature during a single tour in the middle of the ocean. The ride to whale watching usually starts from Reykjavik’s Old Harbour and lasts for about an hour or so. Once you see the magnificent creatures, do not forget to capture them in your cameras. Pssst… Here's a tip for you, go for the ringside seat to witness the amazing phenomenon. This place is also flushed with quaint cafes, vibrant bars, and stunning restaurants. Once you return from the tour, make sure to stop by at some of them and enjoy local food. You can also witness the splendid Northern Lights from this place. Best time to visit: June to September. Being the most popular spa of Iceland, Blue Lagoon encompasses warm and healing water full of minerals of the ocean, silica mud, steam stacks, and soothing vibes. People can book their own premium packages at the time of visit to the spa. There are various five-star hotels standing in the vicinity that also provide special spa packages at the Lagoon. Most common among these is the Retreat Hotel Spa, which provides a complete luxury experience to people—private pool, cold well, steam room, personalized morning yoga class, water therapies and messages, etc. Best time to visit: All year round. Grundarfjordur: The fishing village of Grundarfjordur will make you fall in love at the first sight! The serene houses, summer folk festivals, and the striking view of Mt. Kirkjufell standing amid the awe-inspiring waterfalls and meandering streams are enough reasons for you to stop by at this little hamlet. Another reason to visit Grundarfjordur is the Eyrbyggja Heritage Centre, which regularly exhibits the oceanic history of the town in a beautiful way. Grundarfjordur is located at a distance of 3 hours from Reykjavik and outlines the north coast of Snaefellsnes peninsula . The peninsula has been nicknamed as ‘Iceland in miniature’ and is home to the glorious Snæfellsjökull glacier. This twin-peaked glacier is resplendently surrounded by lava fields and three coastlines as it sits on the peninsular tip of a volcano. Thus, this adds as another reason for visiting the beautiful village. Best time to visit: All year round. Lake Myvatn : Located close to Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland, Lake Myvatn is known for its mystical formation that comprises a treasure of gems and flora of moss balls. Nature lovers find themselves at ease near and around this lake. One can also spot both indigenous and exotic species of birds during summer season as they form various formations in a single flight above the lake area. Another thing that makes this lake quite exclusive is its incredible geology. When looked from a distance, one will notice that the lake is outlined by pseudo volcanic craters that make the water body look quite mysterious. If you are a fan of Game of Thrones, then you must know that one of the most famous love scenes in the series was shot in this area. Grjótagjá hot spring is another major attraction found near this lake. It is carefully hidden in a cave in the lava field of Dimmuborgir. The field is so intense and sensational that it has come to be known as the Black Fortress. There are many other places to visit in this area. You will require a whole day to cover them all. Best time to visit: May to October Now that you know the best places to visit in Iceland to make your first trip memorable and one-of-a-kind, it’s about time that you booked your tickets to have an adventure of a lifetime! - India Is Finally Having A Major Fashion Moment
By Anushka Sharma India Is Finally Having A Major Fashion Moment 23 March 2024 FASHION Advertisement In the year of 2023. Mumbai lit up with the sparkle of Christian Dior's Autumn 2023 collection. It wasn't just another fashion show; it was a historic moment, marking Christian Dior's first-ever standalone show in India. The buzz reverberated across the internet, with clips flooding TikTok, Instagram, and beyond. When high-profile stars like Gigi Hadid and Zendaya adorned themselves in elegant saris, the message was clear: India had stepped onto the global fashion stage in style. For too long, fashion has been synonymous with exclusivity and elitism. While movies like "The Devil Wears Prada" may glamorize this image, it no longer resonates with today's society. Today’s society craves genuinity. Social media has democratized fashion, giving rise to influencers who speak directly to our hearts and minds. Fashion is no longer confined to runways; it's a conversation happening on the same platforms we use every day. And with that conversation comes a demand for inclusivity, diversity, and representation. We've made strides in embracing body and racial diversity, but cultural representation remains a challenge. Fashion is a universal language, yet its narrative has often been dominated by a narrow Western perspective. It's time to broaden that narrative and celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures that shape our world. Fashion should reflect the diversity of its audience, honoring traditions from every corner of the globe. In a recent event in London, Megha Kapoor, Vogue’s former India's Head of Editorial Content, highlighted a troubling trend. Content in Indian languages was deemed unfit for the world of high fashion, perpetuating a colonial mindset that devalues indigenous cultures. This attitude is changing, but it's a reminder that progress is still needed to break free from outdated notions of superiority. Fashion has always been woven into the fabric of my family's identity. From eagerly watching my mother adorn herself for special occasions to bonding over the choice of fabrics and accessories, fashion was more than just clothing—it was a connection to our heritage. This sentiment is echoed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the artistic director of women's at Christian Dior, who recognizes India's rich history in textile craftsmanship as integral to its culture. India's influence on fashion stretches back thousands of years, with its mastery of textiles dating back to ancient times. The legacy of the Mughal Empire infused Indian fashion with intricate details and exquisite embellishments, setting the stage for centuries of innovation. Today, as the fashion industry undergoes a transformation, India's heritage is taking center stage once again. Christian Dior's landmark show in Mumbai is more than just a fashion event; it's a testament to India's cultural legacy. Just as Fendi's show at the Great Wall of China sparked a renaissance in Chinese luxury, we can only hope that this moment will reignite interest in Indian fashion and history on a global scale. It's time for fashion to embrace its role as a cultural ambassador, celebrating diversity and heritage with every stitch and seam. - A look into actor, producer and designer Shama Sikander’s journey
by Aparajita Jaiswal A look into actor, producer and designer Shama Sikander’s journey 30 June 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement “Life is my biggest role model and people are my biggest inspiration.” In our recent interview with Shama Sikander , the actor gives us a gist of her acting journey. From filming movies (like Prem Aggan, Mann, Dhoom Dhadaka, Seven) to television shows (like Ye Meri Life Hai), Shama seems to have learnt extensively from her experiences. “My projects have taught me a lot about humans and life other than acting as well. Acting comes naturally to me. I feel ecstatic when I’m in front of camera. One gets a chance to put to life a character with their own imagination. Shooting films need more time and therefore, are a bit of an ease in comparison to television. Television is all about delivering the product. Nowadays, T.V shows are equally well made but films have their own charm. Overall, the journey has made me stronger and given me the courage to fight for myself.”, says the actor. A multitasker at hand, the actor adds two more achievements in her bag- owning a production company and a women’s wear fashion label named Saisha. Shama says “It feels empowering to own a production company. As for fashion, at the time I was going through a phase where I was looking for a change in my life. Hence, I wanted to venture into something other than acting as well so I started Saisha. It feels good and creative to be a designer.” Another cherry on the cake is the actor’s dream to start directing films and shows “sometime soon”. - Neha Bhasin: ‘I want to take Indian music to the same global level as international artists like Michael Jackson, Beyonce’
by Rupashree Ravi Neha Bhasin: ‘I want to take Indian music to the same global level as international artists like Michael Jackson, Beyonce’ 30 June 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement Singer and songwriter Neha Bhasin has carved a unique artistic identity over the years as a pop artist and folk musician in India. Known for her popular film songs ‘Kuch Khaas,’ ‘Dhunki’ as well as ‘Hum Naye Geet Sunaye’ from the girl group, Viva! she has established herself as a powerful vocalist and independent artist, who has broken many stereotypes of the music industry. In a recent interview, Bhasin shared details about her upcoming singles and collaborations, the struggles of being an independent artist, and her future goals. She also spoke about her biggest inspirations and what she wishes to achieve in the ever-changing industry. “I started my journey as an independent artist right after Viva! but I released my first album in 2010. I’ve been very fortunate to not just sustain myself but balance a great career between Bollywood music and also my own independent music. Of course, you need good music, funds, and the right support system. I believe what really matters is the connection you share with your audience and the music that you're producing while maintaining the consistency of the good stuff that you produce. It’s not easy, but consistency is the key,” she said. Bhasin shared with us that she enjoys a wide range of music genres. Since she was young, she always enjoyed listening to pop rock and classic rock bands like Aerosmith and Pink Floyd. Old school artists like Prince have influenced her musical career. She cites Michael Jackson as her biggest musical influence during the start of her career and Adele as her all-time favourite. “I love keeping myself updated with the world's music space. I listen to current dance genres and I’ve also recently warmed up to a lot of Sufi music. Many artists have inspired me like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Queen, Aerosmith, and Bon Jovi. So many artists from Billy Joel to BTS have moved me. Among Indian artists, I would say Kishore da, Asha Ji, Lata Ji, Reshma Ji, Noor Jahan Ji are my favourites. Some current artists I love are Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Charlie Puth, and Sam Smith It's typical to put them in one word because I feel every great artist has a great impact on your life but I think the reason why I started loving music was Michael Jackson,” she shared. When asked if any album or single is in the works, she said, “Yes, I'm working on my next single. Singles, rather and some folk song originals. Once they're ready I would know which is the next one for release. I’m always working on new music.” On artists that she would love to collaborate with, she mentioned singer and composer Amaal Malik. She expressed her interest to collaborate with Punjabi artists and also shared that she is currently in talks with composers Yuvan Shankar Raja and Devi Sri Prasad from the south industry. She hopes that there will be some big stops coming this year with regard to international collaborations, although it is a bit far-fetched at the moment. As a public figure who has been a part of the industry for many years, Bhasin has been very vocal about social issues like sexism and body shaming and has taken part in a lot of campaigns. “I've had different sizes of bodies in the span of my career. At the very beginning, I was actively body-shamed by the people that I worked with. Body positivity is something I really believe in. It’s something I was very sensitive about because it really impacted my life. I suffered from body image issues and food disorders for a very long time. So, I understand the impact it has on a young person's mind. I hate the word ‘plus size.’ I feel like your body is a beautiful armour that God has given for your soul's residence. It should be appreciated and loved. I think it's my responsibility to put out the right message especially, being a victim of body shaming myself. Hence, I'm active about it,” she said. The award-winning singer shared that her biggest goal or mission as a musical artist is to produce great music that means something in the world. She shared, “The kind of music that I grew up listening to, that gave me goosebumps and changed my life, made me the artist I am today. I want to be the change that I want to see in the industry. My job is not to preach to people or to change them, but to live by example. That's what I'm doing and that's what I’ve always done. I hope to make my label bigger and have more resources to produce good music. As of now, I'm the only artist who’s in it. I'll be happy if we can get more artists in the future. My mission is to take Punjabi folk music global. I've kind of resurrected a dead genre and I want to make that bigger and better.” Her ultimate dream to achieve in the music industry is to live a legacy of great work and for people to remember her work as legendary music. She wants to take India to the same global level as international artists like Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Madonna and have worldwide concerts with great production value. “Of course, my ultimate dream is to win a Grammy and release my English album, which is something that I’ve not done much about till now except for writing good music,” she added. - Seerat Kapoor – An All-rounder’s journey in today’s era
by Aparajita Jaiswal Seerat Kapoor – An All-rounder’s journey in today’s era 30 June 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement Seerat Kapoor has indeed been an all-rounder through her dancing, singing and acting. When asked about her experience training with Ashleigh Lobo, she reveals- “In all honesty, when I started off as a dancer, I had no long term plan of taking it up as a choreographer. I had merely taken it to train the passion that I have towards dance. I enrolled into Ashleigh’s company as a student, along with a couple of seniors who within my first class spotted me and offered me a scholarship program.” Moreover, the artist claims that she became a co-member of Ashleigh’s team and was landed with the opportunity of working as a choreographer in the movie, Rockstar. Taking a sneak peek into the artist’s journey as an actor, Seerat reveals that performing theatrical dance trained her to “face the camera and the big screen”. Seerat’s parents guided her through the process of training professionally as a singer. “I was very young and my parents had this knack of already understanding that there were two creative kids born to them, my brother and I. My parents thought if I trained, I could potentially stand up in the field of professional singing. At that point, all I wanted was to dance, sing and act. I remember a very open conversation at home about how Hindustani Classical music influences your vocal training.” The artist’s inspiration game is rather idealistic and taken from various forms. “I draw inspiration from everywhere, there are no one or two people, not just industry professionals, but the people I work with. Right from the management to my PR to the team that supports me; everyone inspires me. Seeing old ladies in the gym is an inspiration. Therefore, it’s holistic and I’m also inspired by many films and performances by actors.“ Being a public figure can bring out its “pros and cons”. According to the artist, the perception of a situation and whether it is bound to work in favour or not is in the stride of an actor. Her approach towards negative criticism is constructive as she looks at them as opportunities for her betterment in her art. Seerat Kapoor appeared in Slow Slow music video with Badshaah and Abhishek and has been working on several projects currently. She claims that featuring in Slow Slow music video was extremely good. The opportunity was out of her comfort zone. She added that meeting Badshah created a personal level attachment on a deeper level. In terms of her recent projects, the artist reveals that she has a Bollywood debut release with Tushar Kapoor Entertainment Productions along with veterans such as Nawazuddin Siddiqui sir. She is currently filming another movie with Suryadevara Naga Vamsi.“ The conversation was extremely delightful. Seerat concluded the interview with a heart- wrenching message for her fans. “I want to tell my fans that they have been such a great support and I won’t stay silent here, because they very loudly cheer for me when I put up something.“ #TaraTaraKhandelwalBooksBooksandbeyondBoundWritersReadersAuthorsLiterary #Love #depression #society #Seerat #Fashion #SeeratKapoor #lutopia #Anxiety #Reality #LutopiaMagazine #skincare #Life #Kapoor #Mentalhealth SEARCH Karishma Kotak Playing Her Innings In Fashion, Sports And Fitness COVER STORIES Musings With Maryam Zolghadr COVER STORIES Madhura Naik talks about the Life of an Actress COVER STORIES Kavya Thapar And Her Versatile Acting Career That Cuts Across Regional Lines COVER STORIES Ahsaas Channa Talks About Her Mother Being The Inspiration Behind Her Career COVER STORIES POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement By Anushka Sharma A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma 19 October 2024 COVER STORIES By Anushka Sharma A Journey Of Transformation, Empathy, And Unwavering Passion With Jitin Gulati 11 October 2024 COVER STORIES By Anushka Sharma Komica Anchal: A Journey Of Perseverance, Passion, And Possibilities 11 September 2024 COVER STORIES By Anushka Sharma From Dream To Reality: The Rise Of Sameer Mark In The Fashion Industry 9 September 2024 COVER STORIES RELATED POSTS Advertisement
- Black Hole Theory
by Akash Khatri Black Hole Theory 1 October 2020 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement If what happens beyond universe fascinates you then this article is for you! “Black Hole”, “Warm Hole” these are few of the scientific terms that recently became famous, thanks to the sci-fi series and films! But have you ever delved into the reality check of these theories? If not, no worries! We will be talking about the theories and facts related to Black hole right here in this article. “Black Hole” – the enigma that this term has! Who first predicted the “Black Hole” theory? The human genius Albert Einstein explained about the existence of “Black Hole” long back in 1916 in his work “General Theory of Relativity”. But he never named it as “Black Hole”. It was more of a prediction than a theory. Want to know a fun fact? Einstein himself never believed that such an object could exist in the outer space! Then who coined this name? It was American astronomer John Wheeler who coined the term “Black Hole” in the year 1967. But even till that time, nobody could find a trace of black hole. When we got know that black holes REALLY exist? The first ever black hole was discovered in the year 1971 and soon the world acknowledged the existence of black hole in real. What exactly is a Black Hole? Black hole is a densely compact object that does not let anything pass through it, even light. It has immense gravitational pull. Why this has so much of gravitational pull? When matter is squeezed into a tiny space it is bound to have such kind of gravitational pull! And black hole is a sheer black space in universe which can’t be seen with naked eyes. How black holes are formed? When a star runs out of fuel, it dies and gets converted into a “black hole. A space where only gravitational pull is left. No spark-No shine-No light! Are there only one kind of black hole? No, there are three kinds of black holes (discovered so far): 1. Steller Black Holes 2. Supermassive Black Holes 3. Intermediate Black Holes What did Stephen Hawking contribute about this topic Black Hole? In 1974, Stephen Hawking made a prediction that black holes eventually evaporate entirely (Though this theory is yet to be physically proved in real!!). Another interesting theory explained by Hawking is “Spaghettification”. This theory says, if by default, an object is trapped in a black hole then due to its exceptional gravitational pull the object would be stretched like a Spaghetti from head to toe, vertically! There is no end on the number of theories that this enigmatic topic has! #blackhole #Hawking #spaghettification #theories SEARCH Women Empowerment A mere concept or a real Concern SOCIETY Looking Through The Excellence Of ‘Jaali’ Architecture SOCIETY Why the Gender Pay Gap is Wide and Disturbing SOCIETY Festival of Stones SOCIETY The Pygmalion Effect SOCIETY POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement By Anushka Sharma Uniting Voices, Shaping Futures: Dive Into Mun 2.0 At NIT Patna 8 September 2024 SOCIETY By Anushka Sharma These Healthy Habits Can Lower Your Risk Of Depression 31 August 2024 SOCIETY By Rini Pathak A Glance In The Kshitij’23: A Euphoric Escapade 26 January 2024 SOCIETY By Rini Pathak Mithibai Kshitij: Epitome Of Diverse Social Cause Empowerment 24 January 2024 SOCIETY RELATED POSTS
