- Colours Of Couture: A Personal Journey Into AiSPi x Varun Bahl’s Artful Universe
By Sakshi Batra Colours Of Couture: A Personal Journey Into AiSPi x Varun Bahl’s Artful Universe 20 December 2024 FASHION Advertisement As I stepped into the enchanting world of AiSPi “Colours of Couture” at Varun Bahl’s flagship store in Mehrauli, Delhi. I was greeted by a sensory experience that felt like stepping into a living canvas. This wasn’t just a trunk show, it was an art gallery, a fashion wonderland where every piece was a work of art, and every corner told a story of elegance, tradition, and innovation. The event showcased the perfect union of Indian Couture and Global Luxury. AiSPi brings over 40+ luxury global designers from Italy to France to Turkey to Japan, Brazil and beyond that brought their distinct visions to life, presenting designs that spanned the globe, from avant-garde silhouettes to timeless classics. As I walked through the creation, I couldn’t help but admire the thoughtful details that merged artistry and fashion so seamlessly. This AiSPi X Varun Bahl event pushed the boundaries of what we usually know, transforming fashion into art. What stood out for me was the way each piece offered not just aesthetic beauty but also a narrative through expertly told stories. The textures, patterns, and silhouettes felt like poetry woven into fabric, each telling a story of heritage, modernity, and craftsmanship set against the mesmerizing interiors of Varun Bahl’s flagship store. "Colours of Couture" felt like a sensory escape, offering a serene and beautiful heaven, far removed from the chaos of the world. Emergence & Upcycling: A Vision of Sustainable Couture Adding to the glamour of the event and celebrating over two decades of excellence in the industry, the designer “Varun Bahl” also known as the “Couturier of Flowers” unveiled his much-anticipated collection, "Emergence & Upcycling." This collection draws inspiration from the art of upcycling, reimagining past garments with a seamless blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern couture to create truly unique pieces. Each garment was a masterpiece, embodying the evolution of fashion as old fabrics were deconstructed and reborn into stunning new forms. The collection emphasized sustainability with its intricate patchwork, layered textures, and symbolic representations of transformation. Witnessing his curations was a surreal experience, showcasing the power of reinvention through art. Highlights from the Trunk Show One of the event's highlights was the exclusive customization corner by the Italian luxury accessories brand, “ Rosantica ” - A true celebration of Italian craftsmanship and bold design, every piece showcased carried its own unique story. While the collection boasted an array of extraordinary creations, a few stood out to me for their distinctive character, charm, and individuality: Rosantica Holli Osiris Bag A true statement piece, the Holli Osiris Bag or the pearl bag by Rosantica felt like carrying a piece of the ocean in your hands. This mini bag is encrusted with scores of lustrous faux pearls; its intricate design spoke of timeless luxury. It was the kind of bag that could elevate any outfit be it an evening gown or a saree with its opulent charm. Adding a personal touch, the customization corner allowed me to make it uniquely mine, ensuring it was not just an accessory but a personal heirloom. This statement bag is a must-have for any collection. Rosantica Mini Porcino Bag Playful yet sophisticated, the Mini Porcino Bag or for people like me a mushroom bag was an unexpected delight. This limited edition of Rosantica was inspired by the original shape of mushroom, made with golden brass structure embellished with red, clear & champagne-coloured crystals. Its whimsical design caught my eye immediately, it was a blend of fun and fashion that stood out in a room full of couture. What I loved most was how it defied traditional notions of luxury, proving that high fashion can have a sense of humour. Its bold design made it not just an accessory but a conversation starter, perfect for someone who wants to make a quirky yet stylish statement. Rosantica Spiga 50 teodora Bag AiSPi, in collaboration with Varun Bahl, paid homage to the designer’s signature style as the "couturier of flowers" with a bag that instantly captivated me. Adorned with intricate hand-embroidered blooms and shimmering rhinestones, this piece beautifully reflected Varun’s exceptional craftsmanship. The seamless blend of traditional Indian artistry with a modern aesthetic made it an absolute standout for me. Carrying it felt like holding a garden in your hands - a serene, wearable masterpiece that effortlessly brings a touch of romance to any outfit and makes you feel like a princess. The Allure of Fashion as Art What made this event extraordinary was how it transcended the boundaries of fashion. It wasn’t just about shopping; it was about experiencing a different world together. Varun Bahl’s “Emergence and Upcycling” collection, for instance, was a powerful reminder of the potential in reimagining the old into something new and vibrant. His focus on patchwork, deconstructed textures, and sustainable craftsmanship was inspiring, proving that luxury and responsibility can go hand in hand. Naso Profumi Adding to the immersive experience was the presence of “ Naso Profumi ”, whose artisanal fragrances added a sensory layer to the event. The air was scented with notes crafted from locally sourced ingredients from distilleries in North India, making every moment feel even more magical. A Celebration of Uniqueness Colours of Couture wasn’t just a fashion event, it was a celebration of individuality, artistry, and culture. From Rosantica’s customizable bags to Varun Bahl’s handcrafted masterpieces, every piece encouraged attendees to embrace their personal style and tell their unique story. Walking out of the store, I felt inspired, not just by the designs I had seen but by the narratives they embodied. This was more than just a trunk show, it was a reminder of the transformative power of fashion as wearable art. Iconic Pieces and Inspiring Personalities The trunk show was filled with captivating pieces that stole the spotlight, including a fur bag, chic shades, and a pill bag, each one a true masterpiece. The event also saw the presence of several influencers, such as Sumaya Dalmia , Varun Pratap , Chandni Girdhar , Meghna Pahwa , Agou Hengoulal Sitlhou , and Amrita Mehra, along with the visionary behind the floral creations, Varun Bahl himself. It was an unforgettable experience, one that I will treasure forever. AiSPi x Varun Bahl x Naso: A Celebration of Couture and Elegance The collaboration between AiSPi, Varun Bahl, and Naso transformed the trunk show into a mesmerizing sensory journey, where fashion, art, elegance, and fragrance came together in perfect harmony. AiSPi effortlessly established itself as the go-to destination for curating a wardrobe that shines at the season’s most dazzling events, weddings, and celebrations. Colours of Couture delivered an unforgettable experience, brimming with unmatched style, artistry, and exclusivity. If you’re ready to elevate your wardrobe with glamour and sophistication, AiSPi is your ultimate destination. For those who couldn’t attend, the collection is now available online at www.aispi.co , and I wholeheartedly recommend diving into this world of elegance, whimsy, and unparalleled craftsmanship. If the event was any indication, every piece you’ll find is destined to make a statement. - Meet Ishmeet Kaur, The Winner of Mrs. India World 2024
By Sakshi Batra Meet Ishmeet Kaur, The Winner of Mrs. India World 2024 17 December 2024 FASHION Advertisement Journey of Ishmeet Kaur Ishmeet Kaur - Mrs. India World 2024, For me it was not only a journey of determination, passion and self-belief but also a heart full of gratitude. From a childhood rooted in love and support to challenging societal norms, my journey to becoming Mrs. India World goes beyond the crown. It’s a celebration of inner strength, resilience, and the belief that true beauty comes from within. “I’m not just taking away cherished memories with my sister queens, but also the title that has shaped my journey”. “These 7 days have been more than just an experience, they have been a journey of growth, friendship and empowerment, rather than a competition”. "The lessons learned, the bonds formed, and the unforgettable moments will forever remain with me, serving as a constant reminder of the strength and beauty we all hold within." Source of Inspiration When asked about my biggest source of support, “I credit my mother as my guiding light from being my constant support through thick and thin whenever I felt like giving up, she became my strength and reminded me to keep chasing my dreams until I achieve them”. With her unwavering support, I am who I am today. Her guidance helped me overcome every hurdle that came my way. The crown I wear is not merely a symbol of victory—it embodies my hard work, passion, and self-belief. I didn’t just chase my dreams, I lived them. On the other hand, I often see parents not supporting their child's career choices. To them, my advice is simple: “Never give up on your dreams”. Stay true to your passion and trust your journey. If you remain authentic to yourself and your aspirations, then sky’s the limit. "If you follow your heart with determination, success will undoubtedly find its way to you." The best part of my journey has been the unwavering support of not just my mother, but my entire family and my partner, who stood as my pillars of strength in achieving my dreams. Their only advice to me was simple yet profound: stay true to who you are, and always remain humble and grounded with your fellow contestants. “They mentioned that true beauty comes within and that should reflect through my actions”. The Changing Phase of Pageantry I believe that the world has been undergoing a shift, moving away from the traditional beliefs and stereotypical norms, the days are gone when beauty pageants were just about perfect figures and dazzling smiles but in today’s scenario women with different body shapes and sizes are respected and are being welcomed “Today, the pageants celebrate authenticity and individuality” and the focus has also expanded to inner beauty, confidence, intelligence & social awareness rather than just physical appearance. These days “pageants are embracing diversity in terms of ethnicities, backgrounds, age, sexuality and gender identity”. Pageants now place more emphasis on contestants' intelligence, social awareness and community involvement. Winners are often expected to be role models and advocates for social causes”. This shift reflects a broader, more inclusive vision of beauty. However, the path to success is never easy. “Indian women face many societal restrictions, making it hard to build a career, they must navigate countless obstacles and negotiate at every step to overcome the challenges in their path”. But by participating in Mrs. India World, I feel I have broken stereotypes and shown that no dream is impossible, regardless of marital status. Life Lessons Among the many rounds in the pageant, “My favourite was the personal interview round”. It was a truly special moment that I will cherish for a lifetime, as it gave me the opportunity to connect with each judge one-on-one. “Their humility and inspiring guidance left a lasting impression on me”. Power of confidence & Self-belief What sets me apart from others is not beauty with brains, it was my bolstering confidence, determination and self-belief that got me here and stood me out from everyone else. “I would suggest everyone to follow their heart and not give heat to negative perspectives”. I can't deny that there were moments when I wanted to take a break, do nothing, and just relax. But then I had a self-realisation “I was fortunate enough to be selected among so many talented and brilliant women”. It was a golden opportunity that I couldn’t afford to miss, especially with my dreams so close to being realised. This deep realisation pushed me to stay focused and true to my passion. “It reignited the fire in me to work hard and pursue my dreams with full dedication and honesty”. Favourite Cuisine Even the strict dieters have cravings and for me, it’s Chinese food. "If I had to choose a cheat meal, it would definitely be my favourite Chinese dishes - I just can’t resist them!" Celebrating Talent & Creativity I would be incredibly proud to judge the pageant, and if given the opportunity to create my own round, “I would choose a talent round where all participants could showcase their unique abilities”. Whether it’s singing, dancing, poetry, drama, or any other talent, this round would offer each contestant the chance to express their creativity and passion. “I believe it would provide them with an opportunity to truly shine in something they love, creating a beautiful, personal, and inspiring experience." Redefining Success Ishmeet’s journey is a powerful reminder that success is not just about achievements, but about breaking barriers and staying true to oneself. "Dreams take effort, and sometimes they need a push," but the beauty of the journey lies in overcoming challenges and letting your inner light shine. Her story teaches us that beauty is not just about appearances; it’s about strength, resilience, and the courage to dream big. Ishmeet is living proof that with determination and belief, no dream is ever too far out of reach. - The Skill Of Ageing Gracefully: Secrets From The Land Of Longevity
By Rini Pathak The Skill Of Ageing Gracefully: Secrets From The Land Of Longevity 17 March 2024 LIFESTYLE Advertisement Japan is one of the most futuristic nations in the world. It is a nation with a wealth of things to offer. The list is endless and includes things like modern washrooms, luxurious automobiles, and distinctive cultures. The icing on the cake are the Japanese ideas that change people’s lives for the better. In today’s hectic and fast-paced world, they are indispensable for achieving contentment and tranquility. After all, the life expectancy rate in Japan is the second highest. Surely, they must be taking some steps to achieve such results, right? So, today let us take a tour of Japan’s famous concepts (virtually of course) and understand how these concepts would let us live a happier and successful life which might be a reason for our longevity. IKIGAI: The words, “Iki” and “gai,” which were previously called “kai” and signify “life” and “value” or “worth,” respectively, are the roots of the term “Ikigai.” Originally, the goal of Japanese Ikigai philosophy was to discover one’s actual happiness. According to a contemporary perspective, it is a technique for locating one’s ideal job. By matching one’s passion with what the world needs right now, one may utilize it as a compass that informs one what they are destined to do. SHINRIN-YOKU: Shinrin-yoku, commonly referred to as forest bathing, is a practice that entails submerging oneself in the natural world and inhaling the scents of the forest. It’s thought to improve general wellbeing, elevate mood, and lessen stress. In today’s hectic and technology driven world, we hardly ever have time to disconnect from technological devices and the daily grind. Shinrin-yoku enters the scene here as a readily available, cost-free therapeutic counteragent. WABI-SABI: Do you frequently find it difficult to go on or begin anything new because your default setting is to strive for perfection? Then, the concept of Wabi-Sabi is perfect for you. Wabi-Sabi is the practice of reminding ourselves that nothing in this world is permanent and that striving for perfection is pointless, we must strive to appreciate its inherent beauty and make the greatest possible use of it. HARA HACHI BU: This idea originates from Okinawan culture, where it’s customary to eat until 80% full. In the culture, it is believed that people can prevent overeating and excessive calorie intake by stopping their meals before they are fully satisfied. Hara hachi bu is a technique that can lengthen life and assist in stopping overeating. This technique is thought to improve digestion, help people lose weight, and improve general health. MA: “Ma” denotes the idea of negative space, or the space between things, in Japanese terminology. It is the area that is often left purposefully vacant or uncertain in between things, factors, or times. Ma is the presence of potential and possibility as well as the absence of something. Ma is a refined practice in Japanese culture that enables one to reflect in silence. It improves one’s intuition and cerebral faculties and hence is a physical representation of spirituality. SHIKATA GA NAI: The Japanese idea of Shikata Ga Nai, also known as Sho(ga) nai, means relinquishing control over uncontrollable things. Shikata Ga NAi, which merely means “it can’t be helped,” exhorts individuals to accept circumstances or things for what they are. In other words, it communicates the idea of accepting the situation as it is and moving on without focusing on the things that cannot be altered. Therefore, it is clear from the article that including the above said ideas into daily living can improve one’s emotional, mental, and physical well-being, which will ultimately result in a more fulfilling and satisfying life. Let me tell you here that if you have the determination, discipline, and commitment to live a meaningful life, practicing them is simple. These Japanese ideas will give you the bravery, fortitude, and knowledge to handle any hardship with grace, and they will completely change your life for the better. - Anaya Collection Unveils "Gaudí’s Reverie" At Dubai Fashion Week: A Fusion Of Love, Technique, And Playful Elegance
By Anushka Sharma Anaya Collection Unveils "Gaudí’s Reverie" At Dubai Fashion Week: A Fusion Of Love, Technique, And Playful Elegance 11 September 2024 FASHION Advertisement Dubai Fashion Week 2024 witnessed a breathtaking intersection of art, architecture, and fashion with the debut of Anaya Collection’s latest couture line, "Gaudí's Reverie," for the Spring/Summer 2025 season. Opening Couture Day 3 of this prestigious event, Anaya captivated attendees with a stunning presentation inspired by the genius of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. The collection, titled “Gaudí's Reverie,” is a vivid homage to the artist’s philosophy of love, technique, and boundless creativity. Gaudí, celebrated for his fusion of organic forms with intricate artistry, has long been a source of fascination for creatives across disciplines. For Chathuri, the creative director of Anaya Collection, this admiration was deeply personal. “To do things right, first you need love, then technique,” a famous Gaudí quote, resonated powerfully with her when she visited the Sagrada Familia museum in Barcelona. This sentiment became the foundation of the collection, where love and precision merge to create garments that are as emotionally moving as they are technically flawless. Reflecting on Gaudí’s visionary approach to blending nature with art, "Gaudí's Reverie" draws inspiration from the architect's signature use of organic forms, vibrant mosaics, and dynamic color palettes. The collection's journey into the whimsical and sublime brings Gaudí’s ethos to life, offering an exquisite visual narrative woven with fabrics, textures, and colors that mimic the bold creativity of Gaudí’s architectural masterpieces like Park Güell and Casa Batlló. Chathuri explained the profound impact of Gaudí’s work on the Anaya design process, emphasizing how his philosophy aligns with the brand's values. “Our designs are born out of love, but they are brought to life through technique,” she said. This seamless connection between the emotional and technical elements of design is evident in the craftsmanship behind each piece in the collection. A Celebration of Gaudí’s Artistic Vision The collection is a vibrant homage to Gaudí's artistic mastery, where every detail—down to the last bead—mirrors the architect’s celebrated style. Surfaces are adorned with intricate hand embroidery and beading, reminiscent of the colorful mosaics that define Gaudí’s works. Fabrics such as glass organza and double-weave satins are carefully manipulated to mimic nature-inspired motifs, a nod to Gaudí’s ability to draw beauty from the organic world. The craftsmanship extends to the use of hand-dyed ombré beaded tulles and fabric draping techniques that resemble the dynamic movement of Gaudí’s forms. Particularly striking is the incorporation of 3D draping, laser cutting, and ombré color dyeing, which pay tribute to the architectural layers and the unique interplay of light and shadow that Gaudí so masterfully achieved in his buildings. Each piece of the collection embodies the spirit of his work, combining joyful vibrancy with profound attention to detail. The vibrant color palette, ranging from earthy tones to bright hues, echoes the mosaic artistry of Park Güell and the sweeping forms of Casa Batlló. The collection’s silhouettes, which are fluid and dynamic, exude a sense of playful freedom—a quality that defines both Gaudí’s architecture and the ethos of Anaya Collection. These garments are not just fashion pieces; they are living, breathing artworks that invite the wearer to experience the world through Gaudí’s imaginative lens. Anaya’s Homage to the Childlike Wonder of Creation “Gaudí's Reverie” delves deep into the childlike wonder and unbounded creativity that defined much of Gaudí’s work. This theme of exploration, where imagination reigns supreme, is infused throughout the collection. The silhouettes, much like the undulating forms of Gaudí’s architecture, are fluid, joyful, and uninhibited. From whimsical, voluminous gowns to structured yet flowing pieces, each design encourages the modern-day power woman to embrace her own sense of wonder and creativity. The collection also celebrates the vibrant energy of contemporary femininity. Designed for the woman who is both playful and powerful, these garments are more than just beautiful; they represent freedom, strength, and individuality. “Gaudí's Reverie” reminds us that fashion, much like architecture, can be a medium for storytelling, where garments transcend the material to evoke emotional and sensory experiences. An Unforgettable Experience at Dubai Fashion Week The debut of "Gaudí's Reverie" marked a standout moment at Dubai Fashion Week. The collection not only showcased Chathuri’s deep admiration for Gaudí’s work but also highlighted the designer’s extraordinary ability to translate architectural brilliance into couture fashion. The Anaya Collection’s presentation left the audience mesmerized, with each look a testament to the marriage of love and technique that Gaudí so championed. Opening Couture Day 3 on the 3rd of September, 2024, at 6 PM, Anaya Collection created an unforgettable fusion of fashion and architecture. The show was a true celebration of artistry, creativity, and the timeless beauty of Gaudí’s legacy. As attendees witnessed the collection's unveiling, they were invited to step into a world where the boundaries between fashion, architecture, and art dissolved, allowing love, imagination, and technique to reign supreme. - In An Earnest Colloquy With Patricia Contreras
by Anushka Sharma In An Earnest Colloquy With Patricia Contreras 10 April 2023 COVER STORIES Advertisement Patricia is most definitely an au naturel when it comes to acing the realm of fashion, art and beauty. Here’s us, encapsulating a bit of her life that she shares with us in much fondness. How are you? How’s life going? I am glad to share my path today with your community, it is an honor to be here to talk about my life. Everything is going very well, I have a lot of meetings, trips, and interesting people to meet. I am grateful with life for all the paths I am living, if I imagine all I am living today is exactly what I dreamt about when I was a child.” Well, it indeed is a rarity to be doing what you’ve always wished to do indeed! When asked about Beauty, fashion, art: If she could pick one and only one of these, what would it be and why? I am an artist, and expressing my creativity everyday is a must for me, I have always dreamed of having big collaboration with big brands like Vuitton, or with brands that align to my vision and moto in life, to reply to your question, I can’t choose one topic is just the way I can express and create something that drives my purpose everyday. We’ve been loving your fashion looks lately. Do you have any unpopular facts you’d want to share with us about the fashion weeks you attend? Style is the most important for me, not only in clothes but in everything I do, since I was a kid I always wanted to add my personal touch to everything I do. I have worked with many stylists and my style has grown through the years, I had experimented every single possible style with clothes, hair and makeup, I think I have tried it all and now I am focusing to develop a street - high fashion style, in my opinion is what is working now, we came to an era that everything is mixed now, we have to adapt everyday, I am open to collaborate with new brands, is part of my job. I love to experiment. If I can give advice, it is to not be afraid to experiment, or to not try to fit in the box, go far away from your comfort zone. If not in this industry, where else would you see yourself? I see myself in the United Nations or inside a laboratory experimenting new ways to improve health, DNA issues, I am a geek inside of me, I just love to learn and study. Well, this definitely brought a smile to our face! How rare is it to see such a bewitching combination! When asked about what inspires her art, she says, “My art is inspired by cinema icons, fashion legends, art movements during the time, everything that make an impact on society, art is the most powerful way to express the evolution of a society, art is power and is the ultimate luxury to manifest a position.” Patricia dons a lot of hats at once. We couldn’t help but ask where she sees herself ten years from now, to which she replied,”I do not make plans that long term, but certainly I would like to have the opportunity to create collaborations with fashion brands, make up brands, having my own talkshow, I will let life to surprise me, maybe life can change dramatically, who knows.” Which designer do you look up to in terms of haute couture? I admire and follow designers who know how to enhance the woman, who can magnify her beauty, I can list my favorite ones lately, Valdrin Sahiti, Georges Hobeika, Rick Owens, Dolce and Gabbana, Zuhair Murad, JeanPaul Gaultier, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, I think all of them know how to catch the true essence of a woman, there are so many out there, but I just love these ones. Have you ever considered exploring the Indian fashion industry? I have always been very curious about the Indian market. I admire and share their millenary culture, I have many Indian friends and it is my dream to explore India one time on a long trip. I love their cinema too and the people, very warm and kind. About fashion I only know Manish Arora that I used to assist at his show in Paris. At what age did you start involving yourself into the world of art? I was born an artist, I think art is a path that either you born with it or not, you can’t learn this, you have to born with it, since I was 3 I was already painting, everything I was doing was creative, I knew since the beginning that I was not like the rest of my class, I always feel different, the only thing I was interested in was drawing, painting, or plastic classes, I even wonder why I didn’t just did that, I need time to find myself too, I guess. What is art to you? Art for me can be everything, is the way you see and follow your life, the biggest artists are people who truly lived their life through it, there is no in between, you have to let it kill you and express from it, it can sound very dramatic but it can be obsessive, when I used to have my atelier I was consumed by it, I didn’t want to leave, I could eat and sleep in front of my paintings, I had dreams about what I should create, was crazy, is like your loose the meaning of time, hours, days, nothing matters anymore but to take out what is inside of you. What does your art revolve around? My art sparkles joy, fashion, sensuality, love and femininity. It is a tribute to women and how we had evolved through history, through the men's vision, and how powerful we are today, because the world now revolves around women. Can we know a little about your new projects? “I would like to crate an apparel brand, that can extend on the years, as I mentioned above to have my talk show, many things can happen, I will update you accordingly.” Well, we’re not sure of being updated about her ongoing and upcoming projects, but this conversation has definitely refreshed our perspective in understanding how one can do it all indeed! - Top 10 Beaches In The World- All About Serenity & Tan
by Priti Sharma Top 10 Beaches In The World- All About Serenity & Tan 14 February 2023 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement The globe is genuinely home to an incredible variety of magnificent beaches, each more breathtaking than the last, whether they are gifted with blindingly dazzling white sands or situated in the most exquisite setting possible. Some of them are located in the center of well-known cities, while others are hidden away on tropical islands or deep within national parks. These stunning beaches must be seen to be believed, whether they are surrounded by striking rock formations, rocky cliffs, or softly swaying palm palms. 10. Navagio Beach Navagio Beach and the bright blue seas that surround it surely present a stunning image, framed by dazzling white limestone cliffs that tower above its sandy coastline. The stunning beach, which is one of the most picturesque natural settings in all of Greece, lies on the Ionian Island of Zakynthos and is frequently featured in tourist publications. Ironically, Navagio Beach is only reachable by boat and is known as "Shipwreck Beach" due to the rusted wreckage of a ship that lays on its beaches. The beauty gets better and better as you get closer as you skim through the glistening waves towards the hidden cove. 9. The Baths The Baths are located on Virgin Gorda, the third-largest island of the British Virgin Islands, at its southernmost point. On the beach, massive granite stones are piled up and form stunning tunnels and grottoes that are open to the sea and flood during high tide. The striking impact is enhanced by the tropical palms that line the sandy beaches. 8. Tapuaetai A tiny islet in the Cook Islands' Aitutaki atoll is called Tapuaetai (One Foot Island). The Aitutaki lagoon is beautifully visible from there, and depending on the tide, you may stroll on a sandbank some distance away from Tapuaetai. At the World Travel Awards held in Sydney in June 2008, the beach received the title of "Australasia's Leading Beach." 7. Zlatni Rat Zlatni Rat, also known as the "Golden Horn," projects into the Adriatic and varies in length and shape with the wind, tide, and current. The serene port town of Bol is only a short distance from the white pebble beach, which is situated on the south shore of the Island of Brac. Due to its breathtaking surroundings and glistening turquoise seas, Zlatni Rat is one of Croatia's most well-known tourist sites and frequently appears on the covers of travel publications from all over the world. It was ranked among the top ten beaches in the world by Lonely Planet in 2009. 6. Oludeniz Oludeniz, a beach in southwest Turkey with the charmingly called Turquoise Coast, is becoming a more well-known destination as news of its enormous attractions spreads. Oludeniz, which means "dead sea," is home to some outstanding snorkeling and scuba diving because of its tranquil, clear waters and amazing marine life. Even while its large sandy beach is great for lounging, the stunning surroundings are worth investigating. The legendary "Blue Lagoon," surrounded by stunning mountains, is a must-see, and many tourists parachute down to enjoy the aerial view of the beach. 5. Trunk Bay On St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Trunk Bay is a beach that is part of a National Park. The National Geographic Society named it one of the world's most beautiful beaches, drawing throngs of cruise ship tourists. The beach's amenities include a snack bar, bathrooms and showers, a lifeguard, and—most famously—a coral reef snorkeling route. 4. Maya Bay Since having shot to fame in the 1999 film The Beach, Maya Bay in Thailand has been one of the most sought-after beaches in the world. Such was its popularity, however, that Thai authorities had to shut the beach in 2018 and limit the number of visitors to 2,000 a day to help protect and preserve the environment. Surrounded and sheltered by towering limestone cliffs, Maya Bay’s white sand beach and inviting waters make for one of the most stunning settings imaginable.
