Belonging from a town in Assam growing up with limited resources but abundant love, Rinima believed that true wealth lies in empathy, kindness, and determination. From starting her own venture "MISS MOMO” a brand dedicated to gorgeous ladies from fashion seized 2xs to 5xl celebrating diversity and challenging outdated beauty norms.

Rinima mentioned that for her "Business isn't just about making profits; it's about creating positive change.” With her brand she represents her mission to embrace diversity in shape, age and background—a rarity in the industry. She remained committed to prioritising authenticity over popularity. Her leadership style reflects the same values, as she fosters an egalitarian environment within her team and values transparency, making sure everyone’s voice is heard. Her journey isn’t just about achievements; it’s a testament to resilience, kindness, and the power of believing in oneself.

Ronnie : Endless love for her little star

One of the most beautiful aspects of Rinima’s journey doesn’t only revolve around the pageant or business but she extends her role beautifully as a guardian to her nephew Ronnie, where she sees her inner self. Ronnie was abandoned by his father at a young age and didn't hesitate to step in, and believed that he’s an extension of her, a part of her family," she says.

Watching Ronnie ever since childhood grow into a kind and empathetic young man gave her immense pleasure “Raising him transformed me, bringing out a nurturing side I didn’t know existed,” she mentioned. Through the transparency in their bond, she hopes to inspire a kinder and more compassionate generation.

Sacrifices of Women

Rinima believes that women should never give up on their dreams, even after marriage. Marriage and family are essential sources of love and support, but they shouldn't be the reasons to compromise one's aspirations. “Every woman deserves the opportunity to pursue her passions, grow personally and professionally, and continue to evolve beyond her roles as a wife or mother.” 

Rinima grew up surrounded by strong, intelligent women who embodied both power and humility. They taught her that true beauty comes from purpose, intellect, and integrity. Overcoming insecurities and learning to embrace her true self has helped her become the confident woman she is today.

Her family was over the moon when she decided to be a part of Mrs. India Inc, while her husband's family was initially & had reservations but eventually supported her dream. “Platforms like Mrs. India Pageants are changing perceptions, celebrating real women”. Being a part of Mrs. India Inc and winning title of Mrs. India Galaxy is all about embracing authenticity & not fitting into a mould. Mrs India reinforced her belief that women should have the freedom to make her own choices, and “I’m proud to be part of the movement changing societal norms”.

Breaking Stereotypes & Empowering Women

Every Indian woman should be able to make her own decision. The world of beauty pageants has come a long way, and she gives herself as an example to this evolution. “I’m 5'4 and have tattoos, something that would have been unthinkable for a beauty queen in the past. “These platforms are paving the way for inclusive representation, celebrating women of all ages, marital statuses, and unique traits” proving that strength and authenticity are the new gold standards. Despite facing domestic violence and countless challenges for her, giving up was never an option from concealing her bruises with makeup, she faced the world with unmatched strength with a smile on her face which even gave strength to her during the contest.

Balanced meal - cheatmeal? 

Cheat meal? No not for me," she says with a smile. I  find joy in the simplicity of good meals, i love eating "Khichdi with potatoes, coriander, and a side of papad and pickle is my ultimate comfort food." When it comes to fitness my philosophy is all about balance. "I believe in enjoying my favourite foods without guilt, focusing on portion control and staying consistent” balance and moderation is a key to great health and a healthy lifestyle.

Imagine being a judge & curating a round 

As per her perspective, if she were a judge she would introduce a debate round to give contestants a platform to showcase their views and intellect. It would not only allow the audience and judges to understand each contestant’s perspectives but also will help in checking the confidence, and critical thinking ability. “A healthy debate would encourage mutual respect, inspire growth, and highlight diverse perspectives on real-world issues, ensuring we choose the best candidate to represent India on the global stage”.
